H&M's take back scheme

H&M’s take-back scheme is a virtue signal to try and demonstrate they are committed to responsible recycling and circularity when actually they are committed to infinite growth and plan to double sales by 2030.

Alongside the limitations of these schemes, and the reality that globally, only 0.1% of textiles are recycled, they reward returns using vouchers for new clothing to incentivise customers to purchase more, therefore fuelling excessive consumption.
