Mango's quilted zipper gilet
This 100% synthetic gilet uses polyester in its lining and outer material. It's included in Mango's ‘sustainable’ Committed range due to its use of recycled polyester, but only in the lining which represents a minority proportion of the full garment. Making a green claim for the whole product when it's only relevant for part of it is misleading. The claims are not supported with evidence and do not consider the full life cycle, and also promote a false solution.
